Our vision
Our vision is to build more than a place to stay—we are creating a Colorado experience where luxury invites connection, community is intentional, and every gathering becomes a memory worth returning to.
Long before it became Starfall & Pine, this special place was known as Lane Guest Ranch.
Established in 1953, generations of families spent their summers here exploring the forests, hiking mountain trails, gathering around campfires, and falling asleep beneath some of Colorado’s darkest, most breathtaking skies. Lifelong friendships were formed here, family traditions began here, and countless memories were made among the pines.
Like many beloved places, time eventually took its toll. The cabins grew quiet, the campfires faded, and the property waited patiently for a new chapter.
When we first walked the ranch, we saw far more than aging buildings. We saw its history, its spirit, and the incredible opportunity to restore something truly meaningful.
Our vision is not simply to renovate a property. It is to honor its legacy while thoughtfully reimagining it for a new generation.
Today, Starfall & Pine is being carefully restored as a modern mountain retreat where families reconnect, couples escape, friends gather, weddings are celebrated, and guests once again experience the wonder that has defined this valley for more than seventy years.
The cabins may be new. The experiences may be elevated. But the heart of this place remains the same.
